Release of the VenTrainer update - Now available on all platforms

We are pleased to announce the release of an update for our VenTrainer App, our premier ventilator training platform, now available on all supported devices. This update, Version 2024.1.1, focuses on enhancing the INTELLiVENT-ASV interface while also introducing several new features for an improved user experience.

Key improvements in Version 2024.1.1

Performance optimizations and iOS compatibility 

With significant performance optimizations in place, VenTrainer can now be installed on older iOS devices. Please note that while the platform is fully compatible with these devices, performance may vary. Use with caution on older models, as these may experience occasional stability issues. 

Windows PC Direct-Start functionality 

New for Windows PC users: VenTrainer now allows for a direct launch into a specific ventilator, bypassing the initial showroom screen. For those interested, we have created a short tutorial on how to set up this functionality. Access it here:

Usability enhancements

  • Windows-Only Direct Start: Directly enter a ventilator session without navigating the showroom. 
  • Compliance measurement update: Compliance adjustments are now displayed as absolute values relative to predicted compliance, rather than relative percentage changes. 
  • New hardware shortcuts: Improved shortcut key emulation for faster operation: 
  1. S: Standby
  2. M: Mute
  3. A/D or +/-: Ajust a parameter 
  4. Enter: Confirm changes 
  • Enhanced small touch screen support: Improved interface for ease of use on smaller touch-screen devices.
  • Language expansion: croation language option is now available in the interface. 

INTELLiVENT-ASV enhancements 

  • Users can now demonstrate the deactivation of sensors even while INTELLiVENT-ASV is active.
  • Additional minor bug fixes have been implemented for enhanced reliability.

3D Model refinements 

  • Continued optimization and correction of ventilator 3D models, ensuring accuracy and improved simulation visuals.
