Expiratory valves. Keeping a check on flow and pressure

Expiratory valves Expiratory valves

Controlling the expiratory gas flow. A key aspect of ventilation therapy

The main task of the expiratory valve set is to control the respiratory phases and the positive end‑expiratory pressure (PEEP).

It is also designed to prevent internal ventilator components from coming into contact with the patient’s exhaled gas.

Our single‑use and autoclavable expiratory valve sets consist of three different components: housing, membrane, and locking ring ( Excluding expiratory valve for HAMILTON‑G5/S1 and GALILEOA). They are specially developed for use with our ventilators.
